Our English Classes
Our adult ESL classes meet on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 10am–12pm, but we are full for the Fall 2023 semester. Scroll down for a list of other English classes in the area. Also check this website again in December for Spring 2024 registration dates. If studying English is important to you, we recommend coming on the first day of registration. Our classes fill quickly.
Since class already started, you will have to register on your first day. The cost is still the same, since our teachers are volunteers. You are paying for your curriculum (books), not your teacher!
The cost (fees) for a semester is $50. If your family can’t afford $50, come to registration anyway and talk to us about your situation. Our teachers are volunteers, so you are paying for your curriculum (books), not your teacher! Please bring your fees to registration day. We can only accept cash.
We have a nursery and toddler playroom for children too young for school, but our children’s program fills very quickly. If you have small children, it is even more important to come on the first day of registration as soon as we open.
We have seven classes: Three levels of phonics, three levels for readers, and one class for men separately. We are a Christian organization, so we include a story each day from the Holy Bible (Taurat, Zabur or Injil-e Sharif) in our classes. We learn the English vocabulary and discuss how these stories have influenced American culture. Most are stories Catholics and Muslims usually already know. Many are told in both the Holy Bible and Qur’an.
